Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the Netty Awards (“Awards”). By submitting an application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not submit an application for the Awards.
Eligibility
The Awards are open to individuals, companies, and organizations involved in the digital industry. Employees and immediate family members of The Netty Awards organization and the judging panel are not eligible to participate.
Application Process
Applicants must submit their application through the Netty Awards website, following the instructions provided. Incomplete or inaccurate applications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of The Netty Awards organization. Applications must be submitted within the specified deadlines, and the organization reserves the right to close submissions once the capped limit is reached.
Entry Fees
Entry fees for the Awards are as follows:
Entry fees are non-refundable and must be paid at the time of submission. The Netty Awards organization reserves the right to reject any application without refund if the entry fees are not paid in full.
Intellectual Property
By submitting an application, applicants warrant that they have the necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to use and share any copyrighted materials, trademarks, or other intellectual property contained within their submission. The applicant will indemnify and hold harmless The Netty Awards organization from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the use of such materials.
Judging and Selection Process
The Awards may be judged by a combination of a panel of industry experts, artificial intelligence (AI) systems, or both. The selection process will evaluate submissions based on merit, innovation, and impact. The Netty Awards organization has the sole discretion in selecting the judging panel, AI systems, and determining the winners. The decisions of the judges and AI systems are final and cannot be appealed.
Business Introductions
From time to time, The Netty Awards organization may, at its sole discretion and without limitation, facilitate introductions between businesses based on application parameters and the potential for a fruitful business relationship. By participating in the Awards, applicants acknowledge and consent to such introductions.
Use of Award Materials
Winners of the Awards will receive exclusive access to The Netty Winner’s Circle, which includes the right to use Netty winner badges and other promotional materials. All materials provided by The Netty Awards organization must be used in accordance with any guidelines or restrictions provided.
Publicity and Promotion
By participating in the Awards, applicants grant The Netty Awards organization the right to use their name, likeness, and information about their submission for promotional purposes without further consent or compensation.
Liability
The Netty Awards organization, its affiliates, partners, and judges shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, or expenses arising from participation in the Awards, including, but not limited to, technical errors, omissions, or the cancellation or postponement of the Awards.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
The Netty Awards organization reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued participation in the Awards after any such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through arbitration or appropriate legal channels. By submitting an application for the Netty Awards, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
